Established in 1949 as an independent commercial foundation, we have a long history of publishing the works of the most innovative architects, designers and thinkers in Denmark. With publications on architects such as Arne Jacobsen and the first edition of Life between Buildings by Jan Gehl, the Danish Architectural Press played an important role in shaping the history of Danish design and architecture.

The focus of current publications lays on global issues relevant to Danish architecture, including climate and sustainability, the challenges of urbanisation and the impact of technology on architects and designers. Our aim is to publish books of the highest quality and push the boundaries of architectural and design thought, inspiring architects, designers, and the general public about the potential of architecture and design to shape our world.
