Arkitekten is Denmark’s most important professional journal for architecture. It offers a broad coverage of the profession, from city planning to design. The goal of Arkitekten is to view architecture and design in relation to the developments in society and on this basis to discuss the context with the professional conditions and architects’ possibilities to improve the quality of the physical environment: Buildings, cities, the landscape and the things we surround ourselves with.
Arkitekten is distributed to members of the Danish Architects’ Association, the Architects’ Union and the Danish Association of Architectural Firms and is sold primarily by subscription. It is read by almost all architects and many from associated professional areas and those specially interested in general.
Arkitekten is published monthly 12 times a year in ca. 9,000 copies.
