About

The Danish Architectural Press was founded in 1949 as a commercial foundation for the purpose of promoting architecture and the Danish architecture profession’s standing.

The Press publishes the magazines Arkitekten, Arkitektur DK and Landskab as well as Nordic, which is published in collaboration with the Nordic architecture schools.

In addition to this we also publish books on architecture, city planning, landscape, garden art and design.

The Press’ magazines and books can be purchased from our online shop. We have about 100 book titles and magazines from the last three years in stock.

In 1992 The Danish Architectural Press was awarded the F. Hendriksen Medal. This honor is granted by the Forening for Boghaandværk in recognition of the publishing firm’s overall quality. The association has nominated or rewarded many of the Press’ books for excellent book work in the category professional books.
